The rise of technology is bringing about a frictionless environment, where carrying out tasks is becoming less and less manual.

Work assistants mobile Apps like our Assistiven-thandizo allow consumers to do everything from purchase groceries and deliveries, checking on something, making wholesale orders and check up information all without much stressful trips, and costs.

With the likes of Uber, and our own Ulendo taxi, Mobile app technology is slowly coming into our homes, making physical tasks like traveling, buying, long trips, delivery and more not only digital, but also much more convenient.

I have designed and built a mobile app that responds to the need of the people across the country — Zambia. My app is simply a work assistant app…..Helping people do whatever they want to do, regardless of distance, time and cost.

We’re delivering even more precise and real-time products or service requisition options through mobile application and Digital Inclusion Centres.

Pitch Deck Slide

People can now reduce on long stressful trips just to go shopping in the big cities. They can easily assign tasks to others who are well positioned to carry out the task with ease and do it on their behalf at a minimal cost. People will also make savings, and improve their financial management.

INTEGRATED PAYMENT SYSTEMS

What is so innovative about this app is that it can allow payments off APIs, this is to reduce on transaction fees. However, bank transactions will attract some fee.

Because keeping track of task’s progress is such an important matter, the app will have a live tracker designed to provide progress reports, and also confirm delivery once the task is completed.

This app will provide 247 customer service through digital inclusion centres that will be located in most towns of the country. The centres will provide customer support in case of people who are not so conversant with digital transactions. The work assistants located in various districts will offer support through customer care services, including basic digital literacy lessons, and community focus group discussions.

Not too complicated! but rather have the fundamental functionalities.

The design is complete, and it is seriously prototyped using Figma.

WHY THIS APP WAS BUILT

Assistiven-thandizo is our newest innovative mobile app-based, conditional digital inclusion programme focused on empowering people, of all ages, to remain resilient in the times of COVID-19 pandemic, and make healthy life choices, to take charge of their own financial positions, and to reduce the poverty tendencies.

The background of the initiative comes way from a simple understanding that if COVID-19 pandemic has completely changed the way of life as regards to physical contact, and home-stay tendency, digital solutions are the best and only ways to live. Additionally, with the growth of internet opportunities, and way-of-business amenities, promotion of electronic livelihoods would be a way to foster development.

I BUILT IT IN FIGMA AND BRAVO STUDIO

In exactly 14 days, I was able to complete the wireframing and prototyping of the app. This was an awesome experience because I need to say that I spent the same amount of time learning through Youtube and Skillshare. Every step was guided till success.

Figma is a web-based graphics editing and user interface design app. You can use it to do all kinds of graphic design work from wireframing websites, designing mobile app interfaces, prototyping designs, crafting social media posts, and everything in between.

The time I started was my first time to use it and got inspired to go with it until I managed to have prototype.

I started from the scratch and have managed to complete through guidance of youtube and skillshare.

I am just about to launch on Google Play, but I will need to raise funds in order to launch and market the app.

We intend to spend $23,000 on marketing through Television, radio programs, and Roadshows. We will also spend $12,000 on our admin and team logistics. The remaining$10,000 is meant to establish digital inclusion centres in 14 districts so that we can begin to roll-out.

I would need you to help with either equity or loan, or it can be a grant so that we can effectively reach our 1,000,000 downloads within the first 3 months.
